First I will explain why is it important to have a personal or business custom e-mail , you can skip directly to how to get it if you are not interested.
Having a custom domain name can be a useful tool for your company or for you as a person. It helps you be and appear to be more professional to all your customers. But it also helps you have the right name and not to have to look for names like email@example.com or firstname.lastname@example.org . Those days of having to search availability for your name are gone. You chose the name you want.

If you want to create it through cPanel or any control panel bear with me.
Make sure your dns are pointing to the ones given by your provider. Otherwise just add a mx record pointing to your domain. Here is an example of how to do so in cloudflare.
With cloudflare, select your domain and go to dns settings.
This is the same with any provider. Go to your dns records and change them like this:
Type: MX. Name: Yourdomain.com. If this doesn’t work try putting Name: @. Your server is going to be either the IP from your provider or yourdomain.com
Make sure you add 0 or 1 in priority as this will be your only server for handling mail.
How to create your custom e-mail address
Login to your cPanel provided by your host.
Then search for mail
On the Email category, click on Email Accounts
Click on create
Here set-up the name of the account and enter a password.
You have successfully setup your custom e-mail!
How do I access now?????
There are several options.
If you have your provider’s nameservers go to yourdomain.com/webmail or mail.yourdomain.com
If you don’t, then go to
cPaneldomain.com:2096. or yourdomain.com:2096
Enter your e-mail address and password and you’re good to go!
